Computer hackers

A computer hacker is a person who breaks into computers and computer networks for profit or for challenge.  It is a difficult thing to do to break into a computer and steal all the information on the harddrive.  There are many different kind of computer hackers.  There are some that hack websites and some that hack your personal information.  There are some that also, through the internet try to hack your hardrive on your computer.  Computer hackers are dangerous and preventions can be made to help stop people from hacking your computer.  Although there are many ways and security tips to help protect your computer there is always a chance that your computer can still be hacked.
I think that you must be well educated about computers and have a lot of experience with computers to be able to become a succesful computer hacker, although it can be a criminal offense.

Patriots Packers game

There were many good games on football Sunday yesterday.  The Jets Steelers game and the Giants Eagles game were two closely fought games.  At 8:20 last night the New England Patriots faced off against the Green Bay Packers at Gillette stadium in Foxboro, MA.  The first half of the game belonged to the packers as they dominated the pats in total offensive yards and a strong, tight defense.  But in the second half the Pats made a roaring comeback on offense aand stopped their passing game on defense.  The pats pulled off a win, Pats-31 Packers-27.  It was a close well-fought game.

Reggie Lewis varsity meet

Yesterday I went to the Reggie Lewis center in Roxbury, where our varsity team competed with the other varsity teams in the middlesex league and around the state.  My event was the Long Jump and I placed 2nd in the league behind the best long jumper in the league.  I did very well on the long jump and i'm 2nd best long jumper in the league. 
I thought the meet was very fun and i'm excited for the next meet.  We left the Reggie Lewis center around 8:45 and we arrived home around 9:00.  It was a long day but it was well worth it because my work and the team's work payed off.

Apple Vs. Windows

I like Windows alot more than Apple because I grew up using Windows computers and I know how to use them very well.  In the last couple of years I started to use Macs. I don't like Macs because they are difficult to use and understand. They also have fewer applications to use than Windows does. Macs are made more for entertainment and for fun where as Windows is made more for work and job related purposes.

Technology for the future

I think that the newest piece of technology that is avaliable today is the ipad and the new 4G smartphones. These pieces of technology use the newest in innovation and mechanics to create a whole new entertainement and communication system.  It is already a big hit among the general public, and I believe that in the near future everyone will be able to afford a smartphone or an ipad.
I have tried out the ipad and the smartphone before and I really like it.  I like the speed of the devices. I believe that this new kind of technology will help people greatly in the future.

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg information

Mark Zuckerberg was the founder and creater of facebook in 2004.  He became the world's youngest billionaire for creating the social network we call facebook.  Mark Zuckerberg was born on May 14, 1984, in White Plains, New York.  Mark founded facebook with classmates Dustin Moskovitz, Eduardo Saverin, and Chris Hughes while attending Harvard University.  Facebook was his greatest achievement and they recently made a movie on the whole story of the creation of facebook and the lawsuit that followed against Mark Zuckerberg.  He dropped out of Harvard University in 2004 after creating facebook.

Facebook is the world's largest and mostly used social network.  There are millions of people who are apart of facebook.  It is larger than twitter and blogger.  It is a revolution in socializing online and will conitnue to grow in size in the future.

Favorite and ugliest logos

My favorite logo is the burger king logo and the ugliest logo I can find is the go daddy.com logo.  These two logos can be compared and contrasted in many different ways.  I personlayy think that the colors for the go daddy.com logo are ugly and don't go well together with the rest of the logo as a whole.  On the other hand I think that the burger king logo has well contrasting colors to it, that help make it work well with the rest of the logo.

Veterans Day

Yesterday, on Thursday, we had veterans day off.  It is a day to rmember, honor, and comemorate the brave men and women who have served and protected our country in times of war.  I have the utmost respect for American Veterans because they gave the ultimate sacrifice to preserve the everyday rights that we take for granted.
I love the American Veterans and I am willing to do my part in helping to serve those who served all of us by protecting this country.  I have family relatives who fought in diiferent wars and I am so grateful for their service and dedcation to their country.  God bless the American Veterans!
On Wednesday at school we had an assembly down in the gymnasium for the American Veterans who have srved in different wars like WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.  I thought that the ceremony we had for the Veterans was great and I walked down to the Veterans after the gym started to clear out and I went up to a bunch of Veterans and I shook their hands and thanked them so much for their service to this country.  God bless the American Veterans for they have given the ultimate sacrifice to protect this country!

RedRobin website critique

I like the setup of the RedRobin website because it has many elements that give the website a good-looking scheme.  I most specifically like the background color of the website and the light red and dark red together make a good background in general.
I like the images of food on the homepage of the website because it makes you hungry just looking at all the different kinds of food they have.  From looking at these pictures of gourmet burgers people will start to feel hungry and actually want to go to eat there.  I like this idea and how they set this website up because it is good advertisement.
I also like the way the navigation is setup throughout the homepage of this website.  There are many navigation tools here and I like the size of the font that they use to display the words on the title.  The title that says "RedRobin" is very colorful and decorative with style.  It has an old 1950's style look with a modern theme to the title.  Overall I think that this website is well setup.

Photograph Description

This picture of the Grand Canyon that I found on google images is beautiful because it has so many colors and different textures in it to help describe the image as a beautiful scene of nature.  It has a natural look and felling towards it.  The Grand Canyon is in Arizona and part of New Mexico.

I like this picture of the Grand Canyon a lot because it shows the blue sky with the white clouds in the bacjground and it shows the steep rocky hills on both sides of the canyon where the different layers of rock are different colors because they are different ages that date back millions of years, even to the begginig of Earth, when the Earth was first created billions of years ago.

Every year millions of people and tourists visit the Grand Canyon to see its spectacular wonder and view.  They also go to check out the sceneary.  The Grand Canyon is a tourist attraction for all people, young and old, where whole families can go and visit the site. 

My thoughts on art presentation

I really liked the presentation that was given by the woman from the arts institute yesterday. It opened my eyes to a lot of new ideas and careers that I didn't even know existed before I saw the presentation. I learned about the many different kinds of design fields that a student enrolled there can take. I thought that the presentation was well played out and wel thought out, and it made me think about going to college for art and design.

Pats vs. Chargers

I watched the patriots yesterday play the San Diego Chargers. The game was in San Diego at 4:15 in the afternoon. It was a really good game and we were up at the half with a score of 20-6. The chargers had an explosive come back in the 4th quarter and it came down to a 50 yard field goal but the chargers missed and the pats won the game 23-20. It was an exciting game and a nail-biting finish!

Why I Like Photoshop

I like photoshop because it allows you to desin and come up with your own idea about how to make a website and what you want your website to look like.  It also allows you to edit your own website to create new ideas and design schemes for your specific website.
I think that it is so popular because most people use photoshop to design there own website and come up with their own ideas and color schemes for their website.
It is difficult right now for me using photoshop but I beleive that it will become easier and get better for me to use photoshop and I will be able to use all the tools easier and know where they are in adobe photoshop.

Personal laptop idea

I think that all students recieving laptops next year for school is a great idea because it will lighten the load of books we students have to carry around and it will help us get better aquainted to technology, and understanding how to use them correctly.

I hope that the school goes to this new idea because it will help advance our school in a technological way and if the school gives us laptops and makes us still carry around the same number of books to class then I will smash my laptop.

My weekend

This weekend I went to work at market basket in the morning both saturday and sunday morning.  when I got out of work I went over my friends house on saturday afternoon and we walked around, played basketball with people down his street and went to the mall to walk around.  I also went to the BHS football game friday night against Woburn.
I worked out in my yard this weekend doing yardwork and I went to the gym to lift and workout this weekend.  I also watched some of the sunday football games including the Jets vs. Vikings game last night.  It was dissapointing to see the jets win but it was a well played game by the defense of both the jets and the vikings.  I had a fun time this weekend just relaxing and hanging with friends.

3 paragraphs on other blog

      I like the projo Pats blog because it is all about the New England Patriots and their upcoming season.  The blog has a cool design to it and I like how the information is layed out on the blog.  I also like how the blog is very organized and neatly typed.  It has many differnt varieties of colors.
      The posts are very interesting because they relate to the patriots training camp and how they are doing so far in the season.  This blog also talks about individual players and stats.  It has the stats and highlights from the patriots last game this past sunday against the Buffalo bills.  The blog talks about how it was a poorly played game by the patriots defense but on the other hand the patriots offense but up a lot of points.  The buffalo bills offense is ranked the worse in the league so far this season yet they still managed to put up 3o points.
      I like this blog because it has up to date information on the Patriots that I can look at and stay updated on whats going on with the team.  From this blog I can know whats going on with the offense, the defense, and the special teams.  It talks about free agents, signings, and improtant player information.http://patsblog.projo.com/

My favorite website

         My favorite website is NESN.com.  It is my favorite website because I can get the latest sports news and updates about the red sox and the patriots.  I also can get news updates on the bruins and celtics.  http://www.nesn.com/

           My first memory using the internet was when i was seven years old.  I used to go on the internet to play games and look pictures up of tv shows on google images.
           I mainly used the internet to look up pictures and information for projects that relate to school or other work related subjects and material.  I still use the internet to look up information and pictures for projects to do well in school and to study for school subjects.  I also use the internet now to go on facebook and to use my blog.  I still play online games on the internet as well.
          I think in the future i will continue to use the internet for school and I think I will also use the internet in the future to work for my job when i have a full time job someday.  I think that the internet will be an important thing in the future both to me and to other people and will help accomplish more tasks some day than now because the internet will advance as people advance.  I will also use the internet in the future for online games as i did in the past and and now.

College Ideas

I want to try to get into Umas Amherst someday and go into the field of buisness management.  My father went to Umass Amherst back in the 1980's and he told me that it was a really nice school with a great campus, and the education is great.  I hope to be able to make it inyo Umass Amherst someday by maintaining good grades in high school.http://www.umass.edu/
